Sermon Series 106 The Spirit & The Word

The Spirit of Jesus & The Word work together to bring us into all truth. How? 1st by setting us apart as Holy. The 1st Scriptures Jesus directs us to look at is 1 Corinthians 8 & 10 which describe the sin of Idolatry. That the idols are nothing and that there is only one true God. Jesus also focuses us on the things offered to idols are nothing but as examples we are not to eat things offered to idols but to come together in love & honesty. Jesus has us look at Jeremiah 9 & 10 which describes Jerusalem during the time of Nebachnezzer. How idolatry was being practiced bringing us back to Leviticus 7. These scriptures parallel back to now our own time and how Satan wants to drag the world into uncleaness and fornication , adultery , confusion & Rebellion. Described In Hebrews 9 & 1 corinthians 9 & 3 Jesus wants us clean washed sanctified set apart as the holy priesthood and the chosen people he made us to be, without spot or stain presenting his gospel for free & not for gain. Amen.

Sermon Series 105 Restore & Reconcile

Jesus leads us into all truth in his word 1st in 1 Corinthians 8 & Leviticus 5 & 6. Side by side with Matthew 5. Jesus has us read Leviticus 6 about taking an oath and then swearing falsely. That any man thats swears falsely about anything lost shall restore it to that person & add to that which was restored making things right with that person. In Matthew 5:22-23 Jesus tell us that if we bring our gift before the Altar and remember that our brother has something against us, leave our gift there and 1st be reconciled to our brother. Jesus is giving us a word of restoring and reconciling with our neighbors our loved ones and our family members by blood and in Christ.He wants us sanctified living as a Royal nation a Royal priesthood a chosen generation set apart by the king as great examples in his kingdom.

Sermon Series 104 MORE SALT

Jesus leads us to touch on the subject of More Salt 1st in Mark 9:49-50 Jesus sais that everyone shall be salted with fire , and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.In Levicus 2:13 Jesus points us to where this comes from. It sais every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt. Jesus wants us to be obedient faithful & diligent in everything he told us to do. Jesus is leading us into all truth. We make sacrifices in our lives as we follow Jesus.He leads us where we left off in Leviticus 3:17 where the scripture states that yea eat neither fat nor blood.Jesus teaches us in Acts 15:24-29 that there were 4 things the gentiles where supposed to stay away from or keep themselves from. The 1st was blood , the 2nd things offered to Idols, 3rd from things that were strangled and from fornication. Jesus talks about these main things continually in the new testament. Jesus identifies us as a Royal priesthood and a chosen generation as peculiar people special and set apart.Our obedience is one of the things that sets us apart as chosen. Pray seek and listen along.
