Jesus leads us also to touch on the Feast of Dedication aka Hanukkah mentioned in John 10:22-40 & in the Apocrypha 1 Macabees 4.It contains the story of the Macabbees who won Jerusalem and the Temple back from a general of Alexander the Great, Antiochus Epiphanes who was a type or example of the antichrist. This Feast actually was just observed. Jesus leads us to continue in Leviticus 23:10-23 with the Feast of weeks Which is identified with the wheat harvest and is directly associated with the feast of first fruits. It involves being thankful to God in faith with an offering of the 1st pick of the harvest.50 days after Jesus was crucified it is also the day of Pentecost in the new testament with the pouring out of the holy spirit the amazing blessing of the 1st church.
