Sermon Series 100 Building Edifying Gifts

How are we building our God given gifts? Is Jesus able to edify us in these areas? Jesus leads us to see examples of this in this sermon. Jesus points to finish Exodus 33 & into chapters 34-37.Jesus has the children of Israel begin to execute the building of the tabernacle & all of its furniture. The leadership of this project is Bazaleel of the tribe of Judah & Aholiab of the tribe appointed by Jesus. "Those who are wise hearted "(women & men) & "filled with the spirit of wisdom" to use their gifts & talents in sculpting, Art & Weaving/Sewing to glorify God the ultimate & best use. Halleluyah

Sermon Series 99 Gold

Gold is Title of this Sermon as we finish up Exodus 32. Now we look at what Jesus sais to us about Idolatry in the old and new Testament. Jesus leads us back to the 10 commandments in Exodus 20 where he tells to us to have no other Gods before him. Then Jesus leads us right over to Acts 15 where we look at the 4 things the gentiles in the early church are to stay stay from the Apostles inspired by the Holy spirit, instruct the gentiles to 1st stay away things offered to idols. Jesus leads us back to Exodus 25 where he instructed to children of Israel to offer to him gold silver & bronze and the fine linen and fabrics for the contruction of the tabernacle. The furniture the pieces that were gold on the Ark of the Covenant , the Altar of Incense & the breastplate of Judgment. All of these things God instructed Moses as he was on the mountain. At the same time the childtrn of israel convinced Aaron to use their golden earings which were a blessing from jesus to prosper them. So What are we going to do with our Gold of the Kingdom ?

Jesus leads us into Exodus 28 & we look at Aaron & his sons and how they are annointed and Blessed as priests specifically as Levites. The blue purple scarlett and crimson and fine lenin are used for the ephod and priestly garments, as well as the gold and precious stones for the breastplate of Judgement. Jesus then leads us to Ezekiel 16 with a recounting memory that God has of this of dressing Israel.Jesus then moves us into Exodus 29 & 30 where we see the creation of the rest if the tabernacle and the inner tabernacle which begins with the Altar of incense which is used to bless God. Jesus leads us to see this reflected in the new testament in Revelation 8:1-4 which talks about the prayers of the saints going up before Jesus like that same sweet incense. Lastly Jesus points out in Ezekiel 14 Acts 15 & of course Exodus 32 with the Golden calf, the sin of Idolatry to flee away from it. These chapter tell what it did to us in the past and what it did to us in our nearer past and present future. Amen explore these scriptures with us.
