In our last Sermon Jesus lead us out of the feast days of Joy. Jesus now takes us right into Leviticus 24 which talks about the Olive oil being pure beaten for the light so that the lamps burn continually. Jesus helps us understand through the word the importance of purity , we then learn that Aaron and his sons the high priests are to keep that fire lit. In the same way we have that same role spiritually. Jesus leads us right into Leviticus 25 which talks about the 7th year which is called the Sabbatical year where there is sowing ,planting and gathering / harvesting for 6 years but the 7th year is supposed to be a rest for the land with no sowing or planting at all the Sabbatical year. This 7th year just like the 7th day the sabbath has alot to do our faith and trusting Jesus to know that he is going to provide every single one of our needs which bring us right to the year of Jubilee.
