Sermon Series 87 Jesus The Spirit of Prophecy

In this Sermon Jesus leads us to look at prophecy starting off in Daniel 2:16-21 where Daniel & his 3 friends must seek god . Nebuchadnezzer had just ordered. all the wise men to be killed and Daniel and his groups lives are at stake . They go to seek God the Bible sais " they would desire the Mercies of God" and Daniel was the one to receive the prophetic in a night vision he received a vision of King Nebuchadnezzers dream. This all relates back to the Exodus story .We then read in 2 chronicles 17 & 19 about how God inspires us to bring order back into the body of Christ Jesus then leads us to look toward the future of bringing us back into order in Ezekiel 44. Jesus then leads us to relate everything back to the Exodus story . Jesus leads us back into Exodus 9 to look at how God gave the egyptians a chance to obey him with the 6th plague .Some of the Egyptians did obey God but most did not we look to our own time and how the same circumstances will play out again . In Exodus 10 we explore briefly that the servants and fellow egyptians told the pharoah does he not yet know that egypt is already destroyed . Today we see similarities with the crumbling of america and the worldwide culture and powerstructure right before our eyes . Jesus is asking us to grow and seek to be closer to him and obey him more than ever. We also watched a short piece of the Patterns Of Evidence Film The Exodus which explained a little bit more about Goshen were the Hebrews were located at in Egypt.


 
 
 

Sermon Series 86 Faith Pestilence Hebrews Evidence

In this sermon we continue the story of Moses and explore our walk with Jesus in Faith. Jesus leads us into Colossians 1 :27 which speaks about Christ in you. We then go into Hebrews which briefly speaks of Moses story and how his story relates to directly to Jesus . We then take a look at Job 27:13-23 & Matthew 19:16-30 which speaks about the person that seeks riches. In Matthew Jesus speaks about that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven , It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven . We see this is moses story with the pharaoh and how in the egyptian customs they are burried with all of their possessions and these same possessions are prized and even creeps into the very religion of the egyptians . This is why we see such a deep pride of pharoah and is one of the reasons why he continually refuses to let the hebrews go out of his pride and rebellion in Exodus . Jesus takes us into Exodus 7-9 we see 6 of the plagues play out and we see that a choice is made either to obey god or ignore his voice focused in Exodus 9 Jesus leads us to compare this with our current time and the fast approaching 2nd exodus. Sermon Series 85 Feeding Jacob Israel & The World

How do we describe the calling of Moses & the beginning of the Exodus? We can look to our own time period for the answers , this is what Jesus is telling us today. In this Sermon we 1st scripture we look at is Proverbs 16 :10-33 where Jesus speaks to Solomon about what a wise king is . We see the opposite example of this wisdom and meek and humble spirit in the example of the pharoah in the exodus story . Right before that though we can go into the rest of the exodus story Jesus leads us to look at Isaiah 40. This scripture speaks about the feeding and redeeming of Israel out of bondage in what is a future time and what we've talked about many times as the 2nd Exodus we examine this chapter and break it down. We then go into Exodus 5 & 6 and we see some of the challenges Moses dealt with as he was called by God to speak and preach and to declare the truth and the example that the israelites would be called into as an example for the world . We also take a look at how Jesus made himself known differently to Abraham Isaac and Jacob than to Moses and the children of Israel and what type of impact that made on them marching forward Amen . We also take a look at a piece of a film about Moses called Patterns of Evidence afterward.
