Sermon Series Prt 35 Wisdom Of God The Wisdom Of The Kingdom

In The Sermon we explore the wisdom of God .We start off looking at the inspired words of god by Solomon. In Proverbs 1 he describes wisdom is to perceive the words of Instruction then stating I will make my words known to you I will pour out my spirit unto you. We look at a few verses about the commandments and heading to those commandments and how not following them can take away from wisdom . We look at the examples of Jesus teaching the Apostles who he is and that what they know no one else has witnessed or heard saying to them in Luke 9:43-44 let my words sink down into your ears teaching them true godly wisdom .He further teaches the disciples the true meaning of the scriptures after being resurrected . Peter seeks and pushes and is given a gift that is explored in the Book of Acts The Apostles & Disciples shared in fellowship teaching others and encouraging others to seek after this same wisdom. Sermon Series Prt 34 Building Up & Gifts Of The Kingdom

On this Sermon we start off briefly reading in the Old Testament about Abraham & how God renamed him and made a promise to him through his descendants / his seed . We then read in the New testament about how Abraham could not see it but believed in this promise in full Faith. We read about how when God spoke to Moses through to the Israelite multitude he told them in order to enter into the land & complete the promise they had to be no longer stiff necked but to circumcise the flesh of their heart . We read then in Romans in this same manner that we are to humble ourselves and to leave the old person or man behind , the old habits and ways behind a circumcision under grace In Jesus . Once we walk & turn fully to Jesus what thought we lost in the world we gain with what he fills and builds us back up with in the Holy spirit. Sermon Series Prt 33 Refined By Fire & The Holy Spirit

In this episode & Sermon we start off closely looking at 2 chronicles 7 Solomon is seen offering his prayers and sacrifices to God . While learning to know God & doing what pleases God he answers him with fire and through the fire , meanwhile the priests are not able to come near the temple . Jesus continually speaks throughout the bible of being tested in fire and that our work and our foundation would be tested & revealed by fire because he is a devouring fire . As we strive to grow our relationship with Jesus we learn what we must leave behind. Leaving pride and profane babbling behind & only Boasting & glorying in Jesus . We learn that our convictions ,this refinement , this smoothing is a by product of the Holy Spirit Jesus himself .
